Closes: 17 October 2026 at 11:59pm UK time
Only qualifying stock assets added to a stock agency on or after 22 August 2026
and accepted by a stock agency before 11:59pm UK time on 17 October 2026
will count towards Challenge 001.
The contributors with the highest number of qualifying photographs accepted by stock agencies during the challenge period will win:

2ND PLACE — 300 AI PHOTOGRAPHY TOOLS CREDITS
3RD PLACE — 100 AI PHOTOGRAPHY TOOLS CREDITS
Winners and selected contributors can choose whether their ShotScout feature links directly to their accepted stock photograph or to their photography portfolio — helping promote either the image itself or their wider work.
TIES: If two or more contributors tie for a prize position, each will receive the full credit prize for that position. Prizes will not be divided, and a tie will not affect the prizes awarded for the positions below it.
STOCK HUNT 001
We created the ANY HIGH STREET stock hunt first. We have been testing every idea to find out whether the opportunities identified in the hunt actually stand up to marketplace research.

REVERSE RESEARCH
We approach Adobe Stock as a typical buyer: we start our search broad, which tells us how many assets are available for a given subject. We then add context, format and other filters to narrow the search, seeing how many assets remain. We repeat the process with other agencies to see how the results compare. We are looking for genuinely under-represented opportunities even with subjects that are heavily represented. That is how we identify our ShotScout opportinites.
Selected research
WHAT CHANGED?
The broad subject looked heavily represented. Add UK context, photography and a vertical requirement and the genuinely competing pool becomes dramatically smaller.

THIS IS HOW WE'RE BUILDING SHOTSCOUT
Every Hunt gives us more evidence. Every photographer who tests it gives us better feedback. Over time, both will help shape the algorithms and prompts behind the ShotScout app.
